About
Not all who are called to fashion design step into their career with sketches, accessories, and patterns in mind. For some it is a process that unfolds over time. Renée Lynn was pulled from her own career path as an accountant when her peers were drawn to her personal style. Lynn was hesitant to delve into fashion at first, seeing as how she had no formal training in the field, but the choice was soon made obvious
As a child, Lynn’s love for fashion design was born from the gems she’d find at the local thrift stores with her mom. However, as Lynn matured, so did her taste. When she was asked to style her first major photoshoot, Lynn knew exactly where to pull pieces from: her very own closet. Some of these are the very same pieces you will find in our “Rentals” section, right next to “Shop”.
Styling opened up the fashion industry to Lynn but of all the avenues she explored design was what she felt the most passionate about. Inspired by the quality and fit of the vintage pieces that she’s collected since childhood, Lynn created her label, Gogo Lynn, that will be soon launching.
